Meet Nicole Rutsch
Nicole Rutsch is an NYC-based Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master Teacher, Animal Reiki Master, Sound Healer, Herbalist, embodiment guide, and co-founder of Alchemy Sound Studio, with locations in both New York City and Munich. As a leading Reiki practitioner in NYC, Nicole is known for blending Reiki, Alchemy Crystal Sound, herbalism, and spiritual ritual into deeply intuitive healing experiences that support emotional balance, energetic alignment, and inner transformation.
Nicole grew up on a small farm in Stadecken, Germany, surrounded by orchards, animals, and the quiet rhythms of nature. This early connection to the natural world shaped her lifelong love for herbalism, food as medicine, and intentional living. Her creative career began in photography and food styling, eventually leading her to start her own catering company in 2014. Her work soon brought her into the New York fashion world, serving clients including Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, Vera Wang, Rag & Bone, Michael Kors, and Derek Lam. As her career expanded, Nicole found herself drawn toward the wellness industry, partnering with brands like Alo Yoga, Athleta, Bandier, and Adidas. This immersion into wellness, combined with her personal healing journey, opened the path toward deeper work with energy and the body.
During this time, Nicole studied herbalism and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the New York Open Center under renowned herbalists Peeka Trenkle, David Winston, and Drew DiVittorio. While herbalism supported the body, she felt a powerful pull to explore emotional and spiritual healing — a journey that led her to Reiki.
What began as personal healing soon became her life’s calling. Nicole went on to receive Master certifications in multiple Reiki lineages and discovered her unique gift for weaving Reiki healing with Alchemy Crystal Sound. Through this integration, she developed a deeply restorative approach that has become sought-after across NYC’s Reiki and sound healing community, supporting stress relief, emotional clarity, spiritual awakening, and energetic harmony.
Today, Nicole offers private Reiki sessions both in-person in New York City and virtually worldwide, as well as sound healing sessions, certified Reiki Trainings, certified Sound Healing Practitioner Trainings, seasonal ceremonies, Goddess circles, corporate wellness events, and brand activations. Her work blends ancient practices with modern energetics, guiding clients into greater clarity, softness, empowerment, and self-remembrance.
Nicole has led retreats and activations around the world and has collaborated with brands including Alo Yoga, Alo Moves, The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Soho House, and NeueHouse. She also created the first-ever Reiki Meditation Series for Alo Moves — a groundbreaking project now streamed globally.
In addition to her healing practice, Nicole is the co-founder of Alchemy Sound Studio with locations in NYC and Munich. She regularly guides students and community members through immersive trainings, sound journeys, and sacred gatherings in her private Manhattan healing space — a calm sanctuary for those seeking Reiki in NYC, sound healing in NYC, and deeper energetic support.
She is also expanding her work through the upcoming healing app ALCHEMY — a digital sanctuary offering guided Reiki sessions, sound journeys, and energetic tools for daily alignment and self-healing.
